Here is a copy of the rental agreement to view. It will be emailed to you through docusign, a secure site to fill out the information online. Please make sure you include your email so we can get you the rental agreement. It must be completed before we can mail the book.
General Condition Guidelines
New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unread copy in perfect condition. The dust cover and original protective wrapping, if any, are intact. All supplementary materials are included and all access codes for electronic material, if applicable, are valid and/or in working condition.
Used - Like New: Dust cover, if any, is intact, with no nicks or tears. Spine has no signs of creasing. Pages are clean and not marred by notes or folds of any kind.
Used - Very Good: Pages are intact. May have some limited notes or highlighting and some limited signs of wear. The spine is undamaged.
Used - Good: All pages and cover are intact. Spine may show signs of wear. Pages may include notes and highlighting.
Used - Acceptable: The item is fairly worn. Signs of wear can include light water damage and/or aesthetic issues such as scratches, dents, minor rips, and worn corners. Pages may include notes and highlighting or show other signs of previous use.

You are welcome to return your textbook for a full refund within 30 days from the date of delivery or within the first two weeks of the current semester for rentals.
Do used textbooks come with CDs/DVDs?
Supplemental items are not guaranteed on used textbooks. If supplemental items are included they will be listed in the title or description.
Do used textbooks come with online access codes?
No. Used textbooks do not come with one-time use access codes unless stated otherwise.
Can I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your order, call or text Ballard Books at 503-899-5875 or email us at Info@BallardBooks.com . If we are not able to cancel the order before it ships, you have 30 days from the date you receive the book to return it for a refund of the purchase price.
What's the going rate for books I'm trying to sell?
The value depends on each individual book, it's condition, edition, need, etc. In the past we've bought a book for $1 as well as over $100.
